Editorial policy
How we keep our content honest
Researched and fact-checked. Every guide and condition page on Sanara Health is researched and fact-checked by our editorial team against NHS guidance, peer-reviewed evidence and UK regulatory sources before publication. Content is reviewed when guidance changes and at least annually, with the review date shown on the page. We are a comparison platform, not a clinic — nothing here is a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
Evidence first. We base content on clinical guidance, peer-reviewed evidence and UK regulatory positions — not on what sells. Where evidence is weak or mixed, we say so plainly.
No medicine advertising. We do not advertise prescription-only medicines. Educational content describes treatment approaches in general terms; specific treatment decisions belong to the clinic's own prescriber after its assessment.
Honest claims. Product descriptions in our shop use only authorised health claims. We won't attach benefits to products that the evidence and the rules don't support.
Independence. Our writers and reviewers are not paid by manufacturers, and we don't accept payment for editorial coverage. If we ever publish sponsored material, it will be clearly labelled.
Corrections. If we get something wrong, we fix it and note the change. Spotted an issue? Tell us — we genuinely want to know.
